Happy Father's Day!

We are recording the next two songs this month with the full band produced by Gaku Murata!  Also, looking forward to wrapping up a new song called "Legacy" which Tanner Richie is producing!  We will air this first single on 7/1 Arizona radio, a special show called Girlfriends.  Stay tuned under events to listen in!

Pic at the rehearsal studio preparing for Sunset Session show in Hollywood a couple weeks ago.  Abe our drummer escaped the group pic.

Honored to grace the cover of the new online magazine Roots Revival Co.  We are approaching the release of the first single and couldn't be more excited to share my story and a free listen to the new song on the album called "Better and Better."

The talented Artist and Songwriter Allie Moss performing and sharing her career stories with local songwriters and singers.

“Whether you’re 16 years old or an artist with several albums out…” you still get that same feeling of starting with a blank page and as the song develops feeling like you’ve got something pretty good.

You may also recognize Allie Moss along side artist Ingrid Michaelson.

Allie challenged the room with an excercise she read about.  Write as many songs as you can quantity wise. Get 20 songs in 20 hours even if they’re bad.  Have a buddy and at the end you’ll play the songs for each other.  The next day your inner critic is usually gone and you write a song you’ll love and keep.

We are deep into the production of the first album and still making time for some wonderful connections and experiences around the country!

Recently, I had the pleasure of going back to my old stomping grounds to deliver a special performance, along with an exceptionally talented cast, to Songwriter Bill Danoff (author of “Afternoon Delight,” which led to five Grammy nominations and two Grammy Awards).  This goes down as one of my favorite experiences of 2014!

“Bill has literally launched the careers of several young songwriters and helped to build a local community here in D.C. of students and young alumni interested in the intersections between poetry and music…"  Click here for the full article.  Plus a clip of the performance click here.

GEMA Rocks VI

In Georgetown's October’s video of the month, view a recap of GEMA Rocks VI, the 6th annual alumni/student concert presented by the Georgetown Entertainment Media Alliance that took place September 12 and 13 at Gonda Theatre. The two enchanted evenings featured a phenomenal collection of Georgetown University music and comedic talent—alumni performers spanning six decades—putting on exciting performances to a sold out audience. A special tribute was made to renowned singer/songwriter Bill Danoff (I'68), where he received the very first GEMA Lifetime Achievement Award for his many contributions to Georgetown, GEMA and the music industry.
